The May Meeting was attended by 7 Councillors under the Chairmanship of Mr. Len Tucker.
Mr. Chris Smith was re-elected as Chairman, with Mr. Len Tucker as Vice-Chairman.
Following the resignation of Mr.M.Bryan, the Returning Officer at Kennet DC advised that a by-election would not be required. Mr. Nicholas Haines was duly co-opted onto the Parish Council.
A new seat has been obtained for the Jubilee Oak Tree, this will be installed shortly.
Kennet DC had been requested to supply two bins for deposit of dog waste in Rusty Lane, and also to replace the litter bin in the Lye Field by the notice board, and in the bus shelter at the entrance to The Lye.
The Parish Council considered the following application, and no objection raised.
