Notice from Wiltshire Council - 20 January 2016

Wiltshire Council would like to advise that the temporary traffic lights will be remaining for the short term on Baldham Bridge. If water levels drop sufficiently stone may be recovered from the river, however it is anticipated the parapet repair work will be carried out under the new highways maintenace contract due to commence April 2016.

In the meantime, the temporary traffic lights will be maintained by our contractors and if you have concerns with the traffic management please either contact Emma Biggs on 01225 718064 or Highways Customer Services on 0300 456 0105.
During this time consideration will be given to why such incidents are re-occuring and what measures can be implemented to reduce such bridge impacts. Local information is welcomed and if you have comments or suggestions please contact me as soon as possible. For Location Plan click here
